This game is mainly in Owner mode, first introduced in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, wherein the player does not directly control the girls. By winning matches in the festival, players may also collect event-limited items and exchange them for attractive prizes in the event shop. Through their experiences with the girls, players will create many memorable episodes. A rich array of swimsuits and accessories will be added regularly, and players may freely mix and match the outfits according to their preferences. Instead of the two-week periods, there is no time limit, although day and sunset, and to a certain extent nighttime are used as backdrops for various scenes and minigames. The gameplay is very different from the previous games. The game has been running in Japan since 2017 and finally makes its debut outside of Japan.

With Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, I do feel that they rested on their laurels here and felt people would play the game just for the boobs. I loved the second game and thought it really did improve on what the first game started. The different locations also look great and being able to make your own island does allow you to put your own spin on things. Especially with the amount of control that the game gives you over the camera.Įach girl can wear many different outfits and you can unlock outfits for other girls, but without going on a massive grind which is something I liked. If you have played any Dead or Alive game before and had a thing for some of the characters, you are in for a real treat here. However, this is a game that could not be any easier on the eyes. I do not feel that the leap is as big from 2 to 3 as it was 1 to 2.
It goes without saying that this is an absolutely stunning game.
